Cottage Life

I recently found a great online store which caters to the cottage lifestyle. Cottage Past sells collectibles and fabulous decorative items that can fill those empty shelf-spaces with a piece of history. Vintage games, wall hangings, books, maps, and even gardening products can add a lot of charm for very little money; the prices were all very reasonable.

I think my favourite section was the antique glassware. Here you can find anything ranging from old milk bottles (of the type that the milk man would bring daily) to vintage 1968 Dr. Pepper bottles. As they say on the website, “vintage bottle collections are a wonderful way to preserve local history and is the sort of collection that, large or small, works well in any room.” I couldn’t agree more; just browsing through their website was enough to make me nostalgic.
